Important! CSP_W95.ZIP is only for very early versions of Windows95.

Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0 users should not 
install these files. (I mean it!)

If you cannot run RivalLights because it stops with an error 
of a missing advapi32.dll then you will have to install 
the missing files that are in this zip archive.


To install, perform the following steps:

1. First backup your current version of advapi32.dll, if 
there is one your system folder. 
(You might want to return to it later)

2) Copy Advapi32.dll in this directory to the Windows system
folder. You may have to do this operation is DOS mode because
Windows uses the file while running and won't let you write over it.

Check the size of the files to make sure the new copy is in place.


3) Copy rsabase_w95.dll to your Windows system folder.


4) Double click on rsabase.reg to update the registry
and complete the installation of the Microsoft Cryptographic Service Provider.

5) Reboot.

6) You should now be able to run RivalLights.


(I have tested this procedure with success on the very first version of Windows 95,
so please if you still cannot run RivalLights, check all steps and
make sure the files are in their proper places)
